Welcome to “Apart’Observatoire Saint Jean”,

a gite of character and charm
overlooking the heart of the old historical district of Lyon.

You will enjoy visiting “traboules”
(small typical Renaissance passages between two streets)
and walking along the river Saône.
Located right in the city centre,
you will easily have access to the Convention Centre,
Eurexpo and Saint Exupery airport
thanks to a wide public transportation network.

Furthermore, you can enjoy a bicycle ride
at the Parc de la Tête d’or, at the Croix-Rousse district,
and at the Part-Dieu area.

From the guest apartment situated
on the 4th floor of an 18th century building,
let yourself be surprised by the splendid and panoramic
views of the Saint Jean Cathedral,
the Basilica of Fourvière, and rooftops of the Renaissance district.
This neighbourhood is listed as a UNESCO heritage site.

Restored in the old, rustic and traditional style,
the apartment is now a short term rental accommodation
for business and tourism, furnished with antiques.
It offers all the comforts including access to the Internet.

This flat is divided into two levels and a mezzanine.
On the first floor, in the furnished kitchen
you will find everything you need to prepare meals.
As you are in a touristic area,
it’s easy to have diner in a “bouchon lyonnais” ( a typical restaurant).


On the mezzanine, there is a sofa bed for one,
a coffee table, a cupboard, a safe and internet access.
On the second level, there is a bed (140X190),
a chest of drawers, a TV and an independent bathroom.
The cleaning is done once a week. Sheets and towels are provided.
For your comfort, animals are not admitted.

Fees and reservation :
One person : 85 Euros per night
Two persons : 100 Euros per night

The tourist taxe is not included : it amonts to 0,44 Euros per day and per person.
All the charges (water, gas electricity) are included.
Charges vary according to the length of the stay.
To give you an idea, for a 28 day stay the fee is 350 Euros per week
(tourist taxe is not included).

During important trade fairs and the festival of lights, an extra charge of 30% is added.

The reservation will be effective at the reception of a deposit : 25% of the total amount.
