From Saint Exupéry airport
 
Saint Exupéry airport is situated 20 Kms to the East of Lyon.                                                                            Tramway Rhônexpress links Part-Dieu Station.                                                                                                         To go to the Vieux- Lyon to the charming gite : Apart’Observatoire Saint Jean »
Catch the Tramway Rhônexpress from the Airport to PART DIEU STATION.                                                                At   the PART DIEU STATION go into the railway Station and cross it.                                                                           The "METRO" is located on the other side of the PART DIEU STATION.                                                                     Take the B line, to SAXE GAMBETTA Station (2 stops)
Get off at SAXE GAMBETTA Station and take the D line, towards VAISE
Get off at  VIEUX-LYON Station(3 stops)
When you come out of the tube station, turn left.
Walk along the  Saint Jean Cathedral.
Take the rue SAINT JEAN to find our self-catering apartment.
« 70, rue Saint Jean » is the first number on the left.

 

Train
When you arrive by train to find our charming accomodations

From LYON PART DIEU station
take the Tube
Take the B line, to SAXE GAMBETTA Station (2 stops)
Get off at SAXE GAMBETTA Station and take the D line, towards VAISE
Get off at  VIEUX-LYON Station(3 stops)
When you come out of the tube station, turn left.
Walk along the  Saint Jean Cathedral.
Take the rue SAINT JEAN to find our self-catering apartment.

From LYON PERRACHE Station
Take the tube
Take the A line towards LAURENT BONNEVAY
Get off at BELLECOUR Station (2 stops)
Take the D line, towards VAISE
Get off at VIEUX-LYON Station(3 stops)

When you come out of the tube station, turn left.
Walk along the  Saint Jean Cathedral.
Take the rue SAINT JEAN to find our self-catering apartment.

By car
When you arrive by car

Coming from Paris, From  A6 Motoway
Follow LYON CENTRE ,
Drive through the tunnel of FOURVIERE
Take the first exit after the tunnel,
signposted LYON SAINT JEAN VIEUX LYON.
Follow the quay of the SAÔNE river to the Pont Bonaparte (Bridge), close to the Saint Jean Cathedral.
Park at the PARKING SAINT GEORGES or SAINT JEAN.

Coming from  Marseille by A7 Motoway
When you arrive in Lyon,
Exit at  LA MULATIERE, LYON QUAIS de SAÔNE.
Follow the Saône River on the left hand side.
Follow the quay of the SAÔNE river to the Pont Bonaparte (Bridge), close to the Saint Jean Cathedral.
Park at the PARKING SAINT GEORGES or SAINT JEAN

Coming from Grenoble or Chambéry from  A43 Motoway,
Look out for the  Basilica of FOURVIÈRE, you will see it from far away on the hill.
Always follow this direction.
Follow LYON then LYON MERMOZ.
Follow LYON CENTRE PRESQU'ILE taking the Rue de l'UNIVERSITE.
Cross over the RHÔNE by taking the Pont de L’université (Bridge)
Turn left and follow BELLECOUR.
Drive along the PLACE BELLECOUR and cross over the SAÔNE  river by taking the PONT BONAPARTE (bridge).
Park at the PARKING SAINT GEORGES or SAINT JEAN



Coming from Bourg en Bresse or Genève from the motoway A42
Follow signs for LYON.
Take the PERIPHERIQUE NORD (North Ring Road)
Take exit n° 4 PORTE DE SAINT CLAIR.
Follow signs for CENTRE PRESQU'ILE, driving along the Cité Internationale.
Stay along the RhÔne river untill you see a signpost for the PLACE BELLECOUR on the right hand side.
Drive along the PLACE BELLECOUR.
Cross over the river Saône.
Park at the PARKING SAINT GEORGES or SAINT JEAN
